There is a total of 12 points. The more points you have, the closer you are into a crisis.

  1. We encourage developers to become high performers without reviewing their code, so that they can write functionality as much as possible. If so, +1
  2. We allow developers change code by the developers-only decision because the stability of the existing application can be affected by that. If not, +1
  3. We have a system to promote or compensate developers who voluntarily lead the development. If not, +1
  4. We count the number of work items completed per developer. If so, +1
  5. We invite developers to attend non-development-related meetings. e.g., requirement gathering session. If so, +1
  6. We have a sitting rule. If so, +1
  7. We encourage developer to start coding a new technology without building a P.O.C; proof of concepts. If so, +1
  8. We allow developers to switch team to team freely. If not, +1
  9. There is a company rule regarding books, monitors, workplace, work hours, etc. There is no exception to a development team. If so, +1
  10. We have a review process for all developers every 3 months, 6 months, or a year. If so, +1
  11. We promote developers to managers. If so, +1
  12. We have a dress code for developers. If so, +1

How many points did you get? If you have 0, you must be proud of your company and you should buy coffee to your management.
